Programme Goal
To enable refugees and returnees to achieve sustainable self-reliance, dignity, and socio-economic inclusion, thereby reducing aid dependency and contributing to peaceful and resilient communities in both host countries and countries of origin.
Programme Objectives
1. To enhance access to sustainable livelihoods for refugees in displacement and returnees in countries of origin.
2. To strengthen transferable skills, education, and employability for refugees and returnees, particularly youth and women.
3. To support economic and social reintegration of returnees into their home communities.
4. To promote inclusive development and social cohesion between refugees, returnees, and host or home communities.
5. To reduce repeated displacement by strengthening resilience and long-term solutions pathways.
Target Groups
1) Refugees in camps and settlements,
2) Returnees reintegrating into communities of origin,
3) Refugee and returnee youth (18–35 years),
4) Women, including female-headed households,
5) Vulnerable households affected by displacement and return,
6) Host and home community members (where relevant).
